hand_plant The Women's Room is an organisation that aims to help women develop their authentic soulful selves through creative practice, relationship to earth and connection to others. We do this through a range of groups, workshops, courses and events that run throughout the year.

We provide a space and a place for women to come together share women's wisdom, stories, art and earth based spiritual practice as well as develop practical skills in making, creating, growing and teaching.

You can get really involved and become a member by subscribing to our free online newsletter or come along to one of our creative wellbeing groups. You might want to just read articles or have your say in the community blog.

There is always something new to inspire you at The Women's Room.

EarthSpirit Festival 2010

"SPREAD THE LOVE" EarthSpirit Festival 2010.

EarthSpirit Festival is always a community favourite and YOU"RE invited to SPREAD THE LOVE at this years festival. Featuring beautiful soulful artworks and stories exploring LOVE in all its ups and downs are regular exhibiting artists Karin Mackay, Rebecca Verpoorten Laws, Sheryl Hardy, Sally Gersbach, Amy Bell, Karen Maber, Kim Waldron, Sooz Sinclair, Joanna Jensen, Amelia Mackay, Lilly Rose Verpoorten, The Women's Room Mothers group and many more. The LOVE exhibition runs from the 29th October until the 14th November. Exhibition is open at Braemar Gallery during this time from 10am -4pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Of course there is the gorgeous, vibrant tribal belly dancers, African drum and dance and whacky circus, food, stalls (handmade or homemade stuff), and maybe a pizza cob oven demo? on festival day SUNDAY 7TH NOVEMBER.

The Crew

We've had some brilliant support over the last 5 years of which the festival has run. This has come from The Women's Room Committee (you know who you are), Coralie Faye, husbands, kids and wonderful volunteers but also from the very generous John and Emily from Hands, Heart and Feet African Drum and Dance, Devi Mamack and her Gahwahzi caravan tribal belly dance troupe, Ruby Bloomers Women's Circus and more recently Gaia and Elanor from Chai Tea Tent. No wonder it feels like a day out with great friends. Thanks guys and I'm looking forward to seeing you and the other fabulous singers, perfomers and stalls at this years festival.................Remember to SPREAD THE LOVE
